So glad you are here! I’m Heather and my husband Spencer and I have been married for almost 28 years…31 years total together (dated 3 years). We have 2 beautiful inside and out daughters and 2 son in laws (I call them sons). We have 1 toy Aussie and 1 toy poodle, 3 cats and 12 chickens. And one granddaughter on the way!
God, my husband, my children/family, and then everything else is the order in which I strive to live my life. Family time is my favorite. I love writing, fitness and weightlifting, reading, and learning more about my Savior.
I asked Jesus to come into my heart at a very young age..but it wasn’t until years and years later that I truly surrendered to HIM. I really thought saying a prayer and going on with my life was salvation until it hit me at about age 18 that I really never understood what that prayer meant. I surrendered my life to Christ and chose to follow in believers baptism at that time. I know where I’ll be when my time on this earth is complete and am proof that God still performs miracles. (sudden cardiac death survivor x 2)

If just one life is changed because of something that I have shared..then I feel that’s plenty.. Every ONE counts. And it takes just ONE to make a difference.
I don’t write just to write..that is why my posts are sometimes weeks apart..and sometimes they are back to back.
There is NOTHING like the peace that comes from fully surrendering to God. When I finally did, my life changed completely. All because of JESUS! I am NOTHING without HIM.
1 Corinthians 9:16 ~ For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!
