Not There By Accident

So glad you are joining me today! It is summer vacation for my kids, so we have been on the road quite a bit. I haven’t forgotten you all though! While spending some quiet time with Jesus and some time with our family ..I have several things to share with you.

Have you ever been in an uncomfortable situation or worked at a job that you just weren’t completely satisfied with? God makes NO mistakes. There are no accidents..God knows what we are going to say or do before we know. He knows ALL things.

Psalm 139:16 (NIV) Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Romans 8:28 (NIV) And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

You have a purpose. It may be time to stop fighting it. Ask God what it is that He wants you to do wherever you are at in your life.

Proverbs 19:21 (NIV) Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

You may be the one person that is supposed to guide that co-worker or customer or friend to Christ. You may be the one person that can help turn a life around by showing them God’s love. Don’t miss out on the opportunity that could be waiting for you right where you are now.

You may never know in this lifetime the lives you touch. Won’t it be awesome when we get to heaven though..and see that we made a difference for Christ..and because of Christ.

I heard a “true story” just the other day from a family member. He shared a story with me that gave me chills. I love those kind of GOD stories!!! Man, God is so awesome!! This guy is on fire for God..and so is his family. They are in it together..and man the lives they are impacting for Christ. When you love God with all your heart, you can’t contain it and you have to share it. He uses his regular job as an opportunity to share the Gospel and he is also a Pastor at his own church. God has him in both places for a purpose, and he doesn’t take that for granted.

What’s so cool about it is that his job allows him to encounter people that are struggling..and it is his choice that he shares the plan of salvation with these people. He is taking full advantage of where God has him..and as a result lives are being changed..and to God be the glory!!!! I get chills just writing about it! 🙂 Just the other day, he invited a fellow to his church and the guy ( who believed in evolution..because he said that was his choice) accepted Christ that very day at his church! That’s sharing God’s love people!! That is a love you can’t contain! 🙂

You see God knows what HE is doing and HE makes no mistakes. We all have a purpose as believers in Christ. Our purpose is to GO and TELL and MAKE disciples of all nations!!

So, GO..right where He has you now & TELL others about what Christ Jesus has done for you!
Don’t forget though, your words and actions have to line up..otherwise, your witness isn’t credible.

James 2:26 (NIV) As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.
