“You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah”
Psalms 32:7 NKJV
Who do you run to when you are weary?
Where do you find rest?
Let me encourage you to find your rest in God. If you find yourself feeling anxious and uptight try grabbing God’s WORD & reading it. Try writing out prayers. Try writing out scriptures that bring you comfort. Read, pray, write, and rest in HIS Holy Word.
Turn on your praise and worship music and sing or dance or just listen and you’ll find your whole mood will change.
When your anxiety gets high, grab a notebook and a pen and your bible and get your mind focused on what the WORD of God says.
Remember that God IS your hiding place. God will never leave you and HIS ways are not our ways.
When nothing makes sense, there is still peace that surpasses all understanding that’s found only in spending time with God.
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV
