Hope For The Broken

Simple Truths Blog

You want to know why it’s so vital to immerse yourself in the Word of GOD?

Because when depression and tears hit you like a ton of bricks, it’s the word of God in the back of your mind and imprinted on your heart that can give you hope.

Because life will knock you down. But there is purpose in the pain. There are smiles after the tears.

It’s ok to feel all the feelings. But we can’t stay there. There’s joy in the journey. Even if all you can see is the barbed wire instead of the boundless land beyond it. There’s always hope.

And no matter what, He is still good. You have permission to feel all the feelings and cry all the tears. Just don’t stay there. Keep your eyes on HIM.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭NLT‬‬
