Philippians 1:6
I am sure of this, that he who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Tony Evans says:
“People often start projects with great enthusiasm. However, when their zeal fades, the work fizzles out. But God is not like us. He never undertakes anything that he doesn’t finish.”
That’s great news! He isn’t like us. He finishes what he starts.
I am sure of this.
And because he does, we can have hope and joy and peace and live in freedom. Freedom from fear. Freedom to live a peace filled life in the midst of a confusing world.
We can’t let the confusion in this world keep us from spreading hope and counting our blessings.
Satan is the author of confusion.
I am sure of this.
Remember that.
