GOD IS NOT LIKE ME

I am so glad that GOD is not like me.

He is good. All of the time.

I’m not.

He is merciful and faithful to me all of the time.

I don’t always show mercy, and as much as I want to be…I’m not faithful to Him every single second of every single day.

GOD doesn’t roll his eyes at me or hold grudges after He has forgiven me.

HE isn’t “wishy washy”.

God is God and I am not and for that, I am so thankful!

Faithful, Merciful, Loving, Gracious, Mighty, Good, Protector. All of the time.

He never wavers. He never changes. He remains faithful. Forever.

The great news is that with HIM, we are made new. Each day we have a choice to truly follow HIM or not. Even more amazing to me is that even when we are unfaithful, HE REMAINS FAITHFUL! (See 2 Timothy 2:13)

O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies! Where is there anyone as mighty as you, O Lord? You are entirely faithful. ~Psalm 89:8 NLT

If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny who he is. ~2 Timothy 2:13 NLT

GOD IS GOD AND I AM NOT AND FOR THAT, I AM THANKFUL!
